From unsightly and embarrassing sweat spots on your T-shirt or dress to a drenched sports bra after an intense workout, sweaty breasts can be a nuisance. The good news is that there is nothing uncommon about this! Dr Anthony Tan explains that since the breasts consist of a large area of skin, it is normal for breasts to perspire quite a bit, especially after a workout.
There are some steps you can take to help with sweaty breasts:
- Opt for a cotton sports bra.
- Consider removing the paddings from your bra.
- Wear a loose and dark-coloured top.
However, if your bra is dry and the centre of your bra (where your nipple is) is a little wet, it could be an indication that you have some nipple discharge rather than having sweaty breasts. If this is what you experience, then it is advisable to get it checked by a specialist.
