One common question that ladies often ask when they feel a lump in the breast is – what to do next?
The first thing a lady should do is to see a doctor if she feels a lump in her breast. From there, the doctor will refer you to a specialist who will do a scan, either an ultrasound and/or a mammogram.
Once the lump has been identified, a biopsy may be done by extracting a small sample of the lump and sending it to a lab for testing to ascertain the nature of the lump.
Based on the results, the specialist will advise you on the next steps.
